It's not an ornament.” —Christine Mason It's no secret that pregnancy and childbirth can profoundly change a pregnant mother's body. As the womb expands to nurture new life, the body's shape and functions are transformed. Despite these incredible transformations, societal attitudes have often been unsupportive, subjecting pregnant and postpartum women to criticism and shame. Recently, however, there has been a growing movement to reclaim the potent beauty and power of the birthing body. In this episode, we shift our focus to loving and valuing the changing bodies of pregnant and postpartum women. This week, I sit down with Christine Mason, a mother, author, and founder of Rosebud Woman. Christine emphasizes reconnecting with one's inner radiance to overcome societal objectification and fully embrace the beauty and power of female reproduction. Christine, a six-time founder and CEO, is deeply committed to women's wellness. She has authored several books and co-founded a meditation center and medicinal farm in Hawaii. She holds an MBA, is a Phi Beta Kappa at Northwestern University, and is a PhD student in Philosophy and Consciousness at CIIS.
